Minamata is an intense rock band featuring ex-members of Bete Noire. The tour demo was recorded in December 2004 by Danny Carney in Lowell, MA. The live recordings were taken from a performance on The Fallout Shelter, which is a college radio show on WUML 91.5 in Lowell, MA. The final recording of Minamata was done at Dead Air Studios with Will Killingsworth in May 2005, but never officially released.

Rich Ferrell has gone on to play in bands such as Lonesome Republic, Davey Jones' Locker, and The Reliance Band. Mike Tucker went on to play in The Big Big Bucks.
